Tickets are now on sale for the Fringe Festival shows!!!

Aurland: Sounds & Images will perform at this year's Melbourne Fringe Festival!! This audiovisual performance will be at Loop Bar for three nights only - 26th, 28th and 30th of September. Matthew Kenneally (guitar/vocals), Sean Loughran (drums/laptop) and I (double bass) will perform live music/electronic samples to digitally projected images. This one hour show will range from Australian seascape images combined with acoustic instruments in a folk song style, to abstract macro images combined with acoustic instruments and electronic samples in an ambient electronic style. The debut performance of Aurland, which combines my musical compositions with my images, will be on June 3rd at the Toff In Town. Two audio-visual pieces will be performed, both of them include images of Australian seascapes. This is a support gig for Chloe Hall's trio who will be showcasing the new album before heading off on a North American/European tour. For more details go to the calender of gigs

I've been busy working on my third audio-visual while revising the previous two. I'm hoping to be able to upload some in a few months. In the meantime check out a selection of the images from these audio-visuals on the sound and image page.

One week to go until the Stiletto Sisters take to the stage at the Famous Spiegeltent! For those of you who don't know I've been filling in for the wonderful bass player Jo To for the past few months. This is one of the last big gigs before Jo returns to the band so come down and check us out!
